Tori is a CPA & leadership professional with a decade of remote work experience. She started her career as a Big 4 auditor for EY, helping a biotech company successfully file their S-1 report & go public. While at EY, she realized many of her coworkers were not fulfilled with their work.
As a result, she decided to pursue a Master's degree in Organizational Leadership and committed to creating workplaces where people can truly thrive. While earning her Master's degree in Organizational Leadership & Learning, Tori worked remotely as a people leader, an outsourced CFO and an operations expert for entrepreneurs like Darren Hardy, and a handful of small businesses.
After a short break to play professional soccer in Denmark, she returned to work in People Ops for Veraset, a location data company helping to double the company in 4 months. Since 2021, Tori has been working as Head of People for OpenZeppelin, a global blockchain security company whose mission is to protect the open economy. She has a knack for creating workplace relationships, remote onboarding, planning events, global hiring/compensation, and finding fun games for the team to play online. In her free time you'll find Tori in the ocean, eating tacos or at the poker table.
